About the role
As an Agri-Value Chain Specialist you design and deliver smallholder development initiatives that establish long-term, shared-value relationships across industry actors. You will mobilise, organise and train smallholders in climate-smart and regenerative practices, and broker the agribusiness linkages that connect them to markets.
The role blends technical agronomy and market-systems thinking with strong on-the-ground delivery.
What you'll do
- Mobilise, organise and train smallholder farmers across crop and livestock value chains.
- Build agribusiness linkages for input supply and offtake.
- Embed climate-smart and regenerative practices into programme design.
- Coordinate field teams and report on delivery against targets.
What you'll bring
- Degree in agriculture, agribusiness, agricultural economics or related field.
- 3–5 years delivering agricultural or market-systems programmes in the region.
- Field delivery experience with smallholders and agribusinesses.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
